80151012 Error Help!

Brought an Xbox off a friend and I try to download my account onto my new Xbox and I get this 80151012 error. I have tried all the standard things, checking my internet connection, clearing my cache, resetting my password and even restoring my Xbox to factory
settings. Weird thing is that my friend can download my account onto his Xbox, but I can't download my account onto mine. I really don't want to make a new account some help is definitely appreciated!

visit https://account.live.com and sign in, there a menu "security and Password", it should work after you Setup at least one alternate email and one phone number.

Added a new email and phone and still getting the same error message

 

Validate? Where do you do that? I put in the codes from the phone and email and it said it was added. There was no option to validate anything?

 

ok, that is what i meant.

just noticed i had a different errorcode in mind but These steps were required anyway

support.xbox.com/error-code-lookup - enter your errorcode there, it states to remove Login from all consoles and then changing Password, i guess this is kindof security blocking
your gamertag download

 

That's the thing, I got the help of an Xbox ambassador and I did that whole list with them but still no luck. I'm really stuck with this as I've tried almost everything.

 

have you tried reaching xbox Support on phone? they should be able to have a better look for Profile related errors

 

Thanks, I'm going to give them a call tomorrow when they are open Am thinking of making a new account but it must just be a simple error if my friend can download it. I'm just hoping it's nothing major like a console error or something similar!
