I changed my GT today but after I couldnt connect to XBox live. It also wont let me download my profile, and I get error 80151006. Can someone please help? I also noticed that my acct on here isnt showing the new gamertag I created this morning.

When you call support, please choose Option 2

they can only fix it, just have a chat with them

I suggest you to update your billing info, it fixes this issue sometimes.

@ Oakley , he did say that he changed this gamertag so I would assume that he did have a xboxlive before this happened-- no ad-fence)

Yeah man I did see that and was just showing the OP the support page so that they realized that the options for a solution were only 1 of 2.

im getting the same issue, changed my gamertag then cant sign in. if taken suggested steps and they havent been working plz help, this is a major issue.

I have the same problem. Can no longer log in to my live account on my 360... Managed to play with the login this afternoon, after the latest box update, but now it refuses to let me in.

As far as I can see i can't talk to anyone at microsoft because i don't have twitter... and i am not staying around another 30 mins, after over two hours that I have already spent trying to fix it, just in order to talk to have a text chat with someone...
at 1.30 in the morning...

Really *** off with the huge waste of my time. It worked 6 hours ago... so why not now...

Anyone got an e-mail address or know any other means of just getting Microsoft to fix their mess without wasting any more of my time?

By the way, I no longer have double login protection... as apparently it doesn't let me use the only device i want to use... I do have a working account and there appear to be no flags on my account. My tag has been working for a decade... Grrrrrrrh!

 

good egg, have you tried to delete your profile off your xbox (not your game saves and stuff but just your profile) and try downloading it?

I have now deleted the profile. However I can not download it again as it claims I am using the wrong password, despite being able to log in on my PC with the same password. I have tried many times.

Ha! I got a new error message now! I turned on 2 step verification again, to get an app password. I used this and now I am told that there is a problem with my credentials and that i need to go to my account online... which i did and there are no flags on
my account.

This might be the last straw for me and Microsoft Live...
