80072efe error xbox 360

I have the same issue error 80072efe .. Also tried everything here as well, stayed with support over the phone:

- reset networking settings

- changed HD ( i had another one)

- reset cache (several times)

- profile is no longer there to delete

I've tried downloading over 10 times now same error!

HELP!

im also getting the 80072EFE Error code 80072EFE is a error code for the xbox one ..... I don't have a xbox one!

[/quote]May I ask, have you tried to download your profile onto a friends console, using his/her network/Internet connection?

 

Yes . When i say changed router/ ISP / console i am referring for a visit to a friend., its the 6th day and the issue is still unresolved.

Support just keeps saying words like" i got your back" "we will get it resolved" "no worries" but nothing really happened. I am still waiting for the Global escalation team contact. Who was suppose to contact me in 24 -48 hours its now like 96 hours and
nothing ! Tried downloading profile again this morning same error.

 

I know its an annoying question I'm going to ask but in order to help you out quicker than this, its better to keep in touch with xbox support by calling them.

At least, if your security proofs are up to date, what i think it is, You did try to download your profile on an other console, so that would be a account issue in my opinion.

Did you tried 2 steps verification and make an app password as well, is a quick question i can come up with?

 

Hey, TAREKEGYPT! Thanks for your reply. I'd just like to make sure we're clear here: What region are you currently posting on this site from? Not where you profile may be set to, but where you yourself are located.

 

I still can't download my profile for over a week now.. Ridiculous,.. Endless useless support calls and chats.. Escalation that ends no where with promises that issues will be solved in 24-48 hour and nothing. I am currently in Egypt but my wife is trying
to download the profile back in NJ.

 

Thank you so very much for that clarification, TAREKEGYPT! If you could, since she has the log in information for this profile, can you have her post in this thread on your profile from a computer in NJ? Then we can help her out directly.

 

I've already posted everything she did in the pervious posts? I can ask her to post here I am not sure what would she say that was not already been said! How would that solve my profile issue?

 

Out of curiosity, have you tried to download your profile, or signed in to Live with your account information, from a different region?

When you've been in contact with phone support, have you asked them to try and redo your subscription to Live?

 

The reason why I ask to have her post is so that we can help her directly instead of going through you. It will speed up getting her resolved for this.
