80% "Can't Download" (Xbox360)

So I own a xbox 1 x and a 360, I've been buying a bunch of digital 360 games on my Xbox 1but when the wife wants to use the tv I go to our other tv which I have my 360 hooked up, so I've been downloading
games I've bought on my 1 on the 360

Which they mostly all work but I found 3 games that no matter what I do won't work. Assassins creed 1 and 3 and mass effect 1. I've downloaded these several times and they all go to 80% then a pop up says
"Can't download". Go to storage and the game is corrupted sometimes with a size of 40kb other times full download size

I've cleared my cache, done multiple power down cycles. Not my internet cuz I've downloaded multiple other titles with no error.

I've read it may be a issue with my region but I'm here in the USA and my region is that also, billing address is set where it should be also.

So a run down.

I clear cache, redownloaded getting error

Resets router, redownloading error

Deleted xbox live cache, error

Removed profile and redownloaded it, error

Tried usb hard drive, error

Pretty much the same issue here but I'm only trying to re-download previously purchased games on my 360.

New purchases like KOTOR, Rage and Spec Ops: The Line downloaded fine. Old purchases like MTG: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013, Bioshock & Bioshock Infinite; just fine. Old favorites like Red Dead Redemption, Red
Faction Guerrilla, Just Cause 2: download quits at 80%; currupted file.

Called MS phone support a few months ago and got the "we're working on issues with the store" line.

It's been close to a year since I first experienced this issue with RF Guerilla and had the same problem unsuccessfully re-downloading Red Dead Redemption just last night.

Is this thing on?

While it's nice to know I'm not alone, crazy or just missing something, a fix would assure me I'm not burning money by purchasing digitally. Can anyone at MS help with this? How can I continue to purchase games through the Xbox storefront if I know that
my purchases will just randomly stop being honored?

Is there no way to refund and reset my purchases so I can at least re-purchase and re-download?

So frustrated with my Xbox experience that once brought me SO MUCH joy. Like, THOUSANDS of dollars worth of joy!

Still can't download and play many of the games listed on my purchase history. Sez I bought 'em but I guess I'm no longer allowed to play 'em.

And nobody at MS cares.

Unfortunately I still can't download any of my games either well the ones stated earlier, no one at Microsoft can tell me what's going on either with them I've talked to several ppl via Microsoft support and keep getting told the same process to get rid
of the problem but that doesn't solve anything

The issue has to be on Microsoft side. Something errored out during purchase or whatever no sure, weekly I still fire up my 360 and try to download said games but every week is a disappointment lol, thank god I have a xbox one x so it's not a total lose
but still sucks since I bought these games and can't fully play them how they are intended on the 360

Funny thing I noticed tho which no one says anything about if the game is purchased via the online store or the one store that's whennu get a error on the 360 but.... if i purchase a game via 360 store it downloads just fine. Makes no sense to me on this.
And I wasted some money just to test out that theory

My latest no-go download is Red Dead Redemption - purchased via the 360 store, November 28, 2014 - according to the records associated with the profile I'm using on the 360 I've been enjoying since 2008 (??? been so long I can't remember when I got it!)

I was thinking of grabbing an Xbox One X soon but, based on what I'm reading on this thread, I might not be getting the built-in library of games I was expecting. Read: using to justify the $500 pricetag.

I've gotten more than my money's worth out of my 360 hardware but it's time to move on. And if I'm gonna have to get all new copies of my favorite games anyway... and I can't use my existing Gamertag to get 'em... and MS won't help me...

Maybe I'll just wait for my Project Stream beta key to arrive before I drop that $500.

(FYI: The RDR download I had going before writing this post just crapped out at the usual 80% - after one other purchase DL'd just fine.)

Hmmm. Been thinkin'.

Since 2014 when I bought RDR I've moved the Xbox to a new Zip code (within the same state in the contiguous US) and changed ISPs. I moved last year but had the Xbox in storage until earlier this year.

The 80% issue sure sounds like a disconnect between region and profile but... I don't know ...

I have the same issue downloading Starwars Battlefront on my 360. I have given up on recieving support from xbox after talking to 5 diffrent support techs. I have no idea how to correct this issue. I am about ready to tell them to refund me for the game.

I have same problem with Red Dead Redemption and other games on my 360 because I don't want to use my real country location xbox 360 then downloading games with Polish localization but I want games with English only. This is the most stupid protection
which I ever saw if game is region locked then why I'm able to buy it and download to 80%, somehow my next direction is PS4 which is not stupid region locked for digital downloads.

I have tried 2 Microsoft hard drives, and one usb hard drive

Well progress has been made my games don't stop at 80 anymore but show a 100% and even gives me a option to play now. But if u choose that it won't work they shoot you back to the my games section and the games in question are no where to be found

Check hd and they are there full download size and all but corrupted still unusable

I have cleared cache, port forwarded my modem put it in the dmz, wireless and wired connection tried, 3 different hard drives tried 2 being Microsoft branded, deleted and reinstalled my profile pretty u ask and I've done it

Weird thing I noticed. 360 games purchased using the Xbox 1 storefront seem to be the issue here. I bought and downloaded a 360 game on the 360 and had no issues but games bought online or on the Xbox one won't fully complete or will still be corrupted at
100%

Any other advice? I've called support 4 times none have been helpful, explained my problem 4 times and actually got hung up on twice after I explained it
