    7th Elite series 2 controller


    This is my 7th controller changed it 5 times in the store, and when i could not change it again I changed it thru my warranty. Now for the 7th time the controller is doing the same thing. Rb registering twice, and this time my Left Stick is drifting down.
    What happens when i don't have warranty anymore do I have to buy a new one?

    i don't understand that many elite control problems. it should be better than normal controller right?

    my normal controller was 5 years old still working just fine.

    I've got the same problem and I can't even chat with anyone about the issue. I just wanted to vent my frustration about buying a $180 controller in November only to have it unusable just after the warranty expires. I read all these posts about how magnanimously
    Microsoft had freely replaced people's controllers who dropped a hefty sum on them only to be disappointed, yet I can't even talk to a person. I see where I can pay another $99 dollars to get another three to six months of enjoyment out of a replacement controller,
    but how is this a thing? How do you build this great controller and the most crucial element is designed with an obvious flaw?

    Right out of the box one of the buttons wasn't working properly, but I didn't want to deal with sending it off and so I lived with it, it wasn't that much of a deal, but when the stick drift started happening..... I just don't understand how they could sell
    this in good faith. There is obviously no accountability to the consumer, but know this, the people you screw over in this sector are also people who are either purchasing decision makers or purchasing influencers in the private and public sector and this
    kind of treatment bleeds over into adoption decisions.

    I have to deal with the Microsoft update virus monthly and now I get this kind of treatment at home.....leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

    If you dont have warranty anymore it would not be covered. Meaning if you want XBox to fix it you would have to pay out of pocket. If you go through warranty and its expired it will tell you that and tell you how much it would cost to fix!

    I went to a few forums around the internet, and i saw a guy opening up to see how durable it is. Well the Rb/Lb button has a thin plastic C. Thats the best way i can explain it. So i took it off and my controller is working better on one side.
