    I purchased and activated my Xbox One on July 12, 2014. When I was setting it up, on the same day, I was certain that I had set it to my home console. After waiting to receive my promotional code past the August 15, 2014 date, I decided to double-check.
    Turns out that my console was not set as my home console after all. Is there anything I can do about this? I can provide my credit card statement and a scan of the receipt if necessary.

    I'm sorry but you were misinformed. The offer was for specific people only and was shown on their consoles dashboard. No one here will be able to help you.
