Hmv in Leeds are selling pre owned DVDs now, guess hey are getting them from somewhere?

 

HMV To Sell Pre-Owned Stock With 75% Discounts

Hey all, this is a post for the UK really and I wouldn't want you all to get your hopes up too much but I just read

THIS article.

Basically, HMV are selling their remaining Pre-Owned stock with massive discounts this Monday. Apparently this will include Xbox One and PS4 games all under £15 with starting prices of around 60p. Hopefully this is true, if so, I'll be paying them a visit
to see what I can grab for the week before Titanfall.

I'm not rushing out to look or anything, might take a nosey tomorrow while I'm in town and see if there's a cheap copy of Knack knocking round or if there's any x360/ps3 games I've not played.

 

Picked up a wii console for the bairns room as a netflix viewer for £7.50 other than that there wernt a lot in my local store. About 20 copys of EDEN on 360 and some other random titles picked up BF4 360 for 8 quid

 

Not surprised HMV are getting out of the games market. They were always overpriced by miles.

Just check out the pic re the prices they had for the pre owned stuff. That was a hell of alot dearer than anywhere I shop.

Then they mention COD ghosts for £13.50.... I've been seeing alot of ebay auctions for the same game struggling to get near that. As was looking to sell mine but decided against it. As for FIFA 14... anything more than 99p's a ripoff in my eyes.

 

If only all their shops hadn't shut down.

Went to a couple of locals, but there wasn't much stock particularly unless you were one of the very few (seemingly) who didn't already own the
Call of Duty games or Battlefield 3..

 

Wow. I used to live nearly next door to HMV for years. I move away and now this... excellent. lol.

 

There was a whole lot of nothing in my nearest store unless you fancied WWE 2K14(quite possibly the laziest series of games from last gen), managed to get Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition and the Prince of Persia trilogy(both
PS3) for like £6 total, only other thing they had worth buying was the Wonderful 101 on Wii U for £7 something.

 

Hey thats a pretty good deal! £3 each. Both pretty good games.
