MS has a policy in place stating every Xbox Arcade game is requireded to have a demo. MS did away with this policy for Xbox One, since they do not distinguish games based on GoD, Arcade and indie.

Demo's/trials hurt sales of games according to research so it makes sense developers opting not to create demos. Also remember developing a demo requires work and effort that could be put towards polishing the final game.

Multiplayer will be marked in the description of the Demo and say it's a "Multiplayer Demo". Otherwise it's just a singleplayer Demo. Multiplayer Demos only come at a rare occasion if the developer puts one in but the Xbox Live support drops on them when
the official game makes it's release. Unless the developers leave it as it is.

with such anticipation and hype for this game....a demo would only, ruin that ...first time seeing the game feeling most fans have been waiting years for....the demo for DA2 put alot of people off the final release

The first year of having Xbox I probably spent at least 200 hours on Final Fantasy. One thing the game is praised for is it's good graphics and battle system. I like the characters too. One Youtuber said "awww look at the graphics awww look at the graphics
forget about gameplay". Final Fantasy is also known for having lots of cutscenes too in their games. Some say they should make it a movie rather than a game. I'm putting the release date on my calendar! I'll let you know how the Platinum Demo goes it's installing
