I was dealing with a crawler who kept attacking my legs and ended up with a sprained ankle... impeding movement until I could fashion a splint to heal it.

Some damage... especially piercing damage... will continue to drain your life until you can staunch the blood flow with bandages. You can get infections that require anti-biotics to treat or you get sicker.

You can suffer from dehydration and heat stroke and find yourself desperately combing the unknown wilderness for signs of civilization, food and most important... water.

Borrows the "Lock" system from Ark so if you decide to try your luck on a Multiplayer site you can create, fortify and lock your own strongholds and bases.

 

7 Ways To Die is a port from a 2013 PC Game. The internet has known for a while that it sucked.

 

I suppose if you live the life of an isolated shut in who spends all their time locked up in their bedroom and aren't burdened with family, friends, a social life, full time employment and hobbies that stretch beyond your computer then you'll be up to speed
on whatever the internet tells you to think.

Despite all that you've missed the boat on this one though.

It's a really fun and well crafted survival game.

It's a bit cheeky it hasn't been listed as the "Games Preview Title" it rightfully is but nobody is gonna notice you playing the game so why not complain about it here?

 

The graphics may be crappy, but when you get a group of your friends together and start messing around and just wanna kill some zombies, you really can't go wrong.

But that's my opinion.

 

I actually didn't think State of Decay looked too bad, the X1 version anyway. But either way that game was solid.

The second one looks pretty beautiful so far, can't wait for that.

 

I've watched a lot more gameplay and I'm actually getting quite interested in it. I love crafting and looking for materials.

 

State of Decay is without a doubt the best Zombie survival game I have ever played. Brand give it a go if you havnt already. Loads of collecting and scavenging through buildings, crafting not so much, although keeping everyone well, fed and happy more
than makes up for it, and the ever present shadow of perma death for your character creates some real tension. Game was awesome, I bought it again for the One but haven't had the time to play it.

As for the game this thread is about, think its a swerve from me based on what I've heard....

 

Yeah this one is turning out to be a bit of a "Two Worlds".

Awful game that you have to wonder how it got certified... bu that's actually quite fun to play.

 

Sometimes those are the best games....

 

The multiplayer doesn't work

 

The official Forums have an open dialogue for players to feedback issues, report bugs and comment on how they have been affected by known issues.

There are a lot of issues but they should be addressed. They shouldn't have been there in the first place... but at least they are being addressed.

Local Coop works fine. Online is working for some and not for others. Apparently character selection has an impact on this as selecting Miguel and another character will cause them to duplicate items that ends up knacking the game.

Again not acceptable on release. The only thing is... when it does play... it's actually quite fun.

6 days in and they've already released a 2nd patch fixing the bugs where equipping headgear on Miguel or Clint would crash the game (and other things but that one was a 'biggie')

 

It is a port of a PC ALPHA game, still in development. Alpha 15 just came out with a lot of new content. The issue is the ability of a console to handle yhe graphics well. And I have consoles and PC, so I'm not slamming consoles. They have upped the graphics
and view distance in the last update, but because of the details, a console version isn't going to be as pretty as a PC. So, the console is still in dev as well, something to think about, that it will continue to improve.

Do some YT searches, Kage/Games4Kicks/Skippy all have updated ongoing LP's and getting new subs every day as this game evolves and grows. Skippy has LP for console, too. If you want to see the difference between PC and console.

FYI, I haven't played this in a long while, but this game is MUCH better with friends. I never truly enjoyed it SP, but as a group it can be hilarious.

 

But if it's the type of game you like, it's great. I have a couple coworkers that play that game like it's their job! It's a super fun one to play with friends.
