7 days to die- alpha 21 is released worldwide but on xbox pc game pass, it is still showing...

to help you out I've surfed their product very thoroughly they want to release updates with few bugs and positive changes to the game so they are using PC as a beta test for bugs and feed back updating Xbox sparingly to save time working on 2 different platforms by making one solid before moving content over

With regards to the next version update of a game, only the Game Developer knows when to release it. Based from the game developer itself, indeed they have released update today for other platforms and it seems it is not just the Xbox Game Pass for PC that hasn't received update, even on PlayStation platform some users reporting they haven't receive the Alpha 21 update yet.

This is based on their twitter post https://twitter.com/7DaystoDie/status/166830839... what I suggest is to try submitting a ticket to the game developer to report or inquire whether when they are planning to release updates for the Xbox PC version you may submit a request to them via their page https://community.7daystodie.com/topic/32004-a2... then click on "Support" and login your account to submit one.

So what happens after 6 months and there are still bugs? In an Evolve article they said they hard a working rough setup after 3 months, so they have been working an testing since, even their alpha had issues.

testing with people in the office isn't whats needed tested by millions worldwide is.

On PC some games are released at alpha and beta stages, normally at reduced prices, that allows for true level testing and keeps customer expectations at a certain level.

Wolfenstein: The New Order publisher Bethesda has confirmed that Machine Games’ sequel will see a worldwide launch, which means the European edition will release a few days earlier than originally planned.

In a press release sent to VG247 this morning, Bethesda confirmed that the shooter will now release worldwide, May 20 on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, which is a move forward from the previously-announced May 23 European launch.
