7 days of Live gold for sign in inconvenience.

I think its a pretty nice gesture too. I bet it took a small while to send out though :/ imagine how big the list must of been!

 

I haven't been sent the free 7 days... Not that I care, as I'm paid up until August 2015...

I don't pay for my Gold sub anyways... My family (in-laws included, it's awesome that they're cool with my hobby) give me EB gift cards for birthdays, Christmas, fathers day (obviously not the in-laws on this one) and so on. I press EB to price match, and
they do... Very little of my own money goes towards gaming... It's a pretty sweet deal.

Got my X1 and all the kit that goes with it from gift cards... Still got some left and the birthday is coming up soon...

So I guess it's hard for me to to gripe over $20 difference a year for Gold ($45 OzGameshop vs. $63 EB).

 

I need to get my family to take lessons from your family mate ^

 

$63 at EB? Who are they price matching? JB even sells for $79

It was during post Christmas sales, JB had it for $63 (20% off RRP)

I always wait for the sales to buy... Keeps me a year in advance at a good enough price. Plus I've been shopping at the same store for years... The guys there are really good and look after me.

Every time I called in to support with my X1/GT issues they gave me a code for 6 months of Live.....x3, plus I got a free month my console exchange ..... I'm ok with that....

You just need to go at it the right way. Start by getting the Wife to suggest it to them (the in-laws)... Put it this way:

"If they (the family) give you gift cards, you won't have to spend your own money on gaming... Maybe you'll be able to take her out for a nice dinner with the money you save"... See what happens. Once they get into the habit, you're set!

As for your side of the family... Just tell them that they'll be getting you what you really want... Offer to buy them what they want. It works for me...

My 1 month subscription expired. I got the message for a 7 days free but where and when are they going to send the code? Can really use it now.

 

I have no idea on the answer to that but will it not of auto added to your account? I see you as Gold on the forums. Have you resolved it?
