7 days of Live gold for sign in inconvenience.

RRP for 12 month Gold in New Zealand is $79.95. When I first joined Xbox Live was doing a console sale 12M Gold 40% off. This year when I went to renew my 12M Gold in February, JB had a 40% off Xbox Live Gold. It would be interesting to see 50% off. But
40% is good enough. Pay it and worry about it only once a year and you're all sorted.

 

No messages in my inbox but I didn't even use my Xbox over that period, let alone have issues. That said, if I had gotten it I wouldn't turn my nose up, free gold is free gold. 1 week longer before you have to cough up again at the end of the day.

7 days? My friend is getting 3 months for lost progress in Titanfall, which never occured.

 

How could you lose progress in Titanfall when it's all online only? The fact that you say your friend got away with something like that worries me. I would think the moment you finish a match, it's recorded - unless he deleted his own save file by accident
or something - but in that case it's his own fault and not that of the developer, publisher, or MS.

 

Got away with? How did he get away with anything? If Xbox sends you a message saying hey here is 3 months of gold for free are you going to turn it down? And it was the fault of Respawn and xbox

Of course freebies are always welcome - unless they're unwanted.

 

I had no problems logging in, still got the message giving me 7 days of live. And to add, it is silly to not pay less than full price for live, at a minimum there is a sale of 20-50% off at any given day.

 

i payed £54 for 24 months normally get gold for £20-£35

 

I must be the only person in the world that pays full price for live. It's just far to easy to walk in to a shop when I happen to be in town, buy the card and tap it in when I'm home. It still costs very little and isn't something worth making an event out
of imo.

 

Week before my live runs out I buy the code online and it's emailed to my phone within 2 days. I get an extra week before doing that now.

 

@Sausage you should shop around. I know you are on Twitter, so you should follow @frugalgaming they are UK based and scour the net for gaming deals. Also the ambassador program just had a challenge giving out 3 months of gold.

@Rippen I think everyone gets an extra week. At least I have been given an extra week when renewing my membership the last couple of times.

 

7 days more than covers the day we lost weeks ago, and the hour we lost last night. It's more than adequate, and there should be no complaints.
