I haven't received any codes giving access to the 7 days. Also when i tried to reply to the message, it didn't work.

Yep, barely costs MS anything and as you can see above, they get so much in return.

 

This costs MS $00.92 per person.

Xbox Live Gold Membership is $60.00 per year.

Out of 65 annual subscribers, only 1 of them decides to renew because of MS' generosity.

MS makes back all of their hard-spent money with a few cents left over ($00.20 actually).

How much you want to bet that more than 1 person would renew, in turn making MS a large profit? That's a good bet IMO and I think MS knows that - it's this kind of thinking that helps MS turn a profit and continue to do well.

 

Anyone that pays full price for gold is a dummy. I always get it for around half price.

And GG, why would you take the time to figure that out?

 

Because it's late and I'm bored, Bizarro. Also, I don't like being called a dummy because I choose to pay full price. Regardless of whether I could've gotten it cheaper or not, I still think the value is worth it. It might not make me a savvy consumer to
be sure, but certainly not a dummy.

 

@xeno its more like back to work full time, lol. I'll definately jump back on Titanfall next chance as bf DLC is a laggy mess. Must compete Burial under the Sea ep 2 though after starting it this morning. Fantastic!!!

There's no such thing as half price Gold in Australia... It just doesn't happen. You have to go through OzGameshop (which your stuff comes from England) for anything close to half price.

RRP for Gold at most Australian retailers is $88-$90 for 12 months... I wait for post Christmas sales and got my last one for $63. All of our gaming stuff is expensive.
