    7 day communication ban

    ^^ Those forums are no longer used since August.

    All you can do is sign in here
    enforcement.xbox.com/.../HowTo     & ask for a case review.

    7-day Comms Ban

    Hi there.

    I have received a 7-day comms ban and the decision has been upheld after review.

    First, Im not disputing it. I accept it.

    What I would like to know if there is anyway I can get more info on the exact incident leading to the ban?

    I let my little cousin use my Xbox one sometimes and I think he has been sending messages and then deleting them so I don't see them.

    Problem is that he isn't getting punished, I am. Which is my fault, I understand.

    I would like some details so that I can confront him with the evidence because so far he is denying it but if upheld after review I know he did something.

    Is there any way I can request this information at all?

    Even if you don't type the word out and use anti-grams or other forms of the word, it is still a violation of the code of conduct and can result in an enforcement action. Communications on xbox live is a rated E for Everyone communications channel an this
    service need to be treated as such. Microsoft has the right to protect this service based on the ToU and Code of Conduct that everyone agrees to when they sign up for the service.

    Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this situation. You must go to through the
    Enforcement websiteto resolve this.
    If you were suspended for longer than a day, in this case 7 days, you can also submit a case review from the same website.Side note: Enforcement does not Post, Read, or Comment on Forums nor can support offer
    assistance.

    If you run into a toxic player then Report, Block and Ignore the user, and do not engage them. (Enforcement does not see anyone as Defending themselves, they look towards the
    Code of Conductonly.)
    As stated prior, the Enforcement website will have all of the info you need to find out why you had a suspension on your account.

    Since there is no further resolution and in an effort to minimize repetitive answers we will be locking this thread, but if you have any further questions or concerns feel free to come back to the Xbox forum (Do not repost the same question or
    thread as that would violate the Xbox Forum Guidelines).

    Ive seen someone use that almost everyday and thats why i initially thought it was ok. Then to have an Xbox Employee help me make a message that would be ok to post and recieve the 7 day ban after.

    The worst part is not knowing what I did to cause the ban. No answers from anywhere.

    They deal with a lot of cases per day so it's difficult for them to break down each case for each review. If you want more details, check out the Community
    guidelines     for what is, or can be, considered spam.
