7 day ban for swearing in a message while playing a game that is for people 18+

Why are adults getting bans for swearing while playing a game for 18+. I received numerous of messages from a German player, firstly mocking me by calling me a noob and with laughing faces, then to send me numerous messages in German which I don't speak.
I replied with English (removed - profanity) and got a 7 day ban for it, and after the German man reported me he sent me another message in German. God knows what's written in the messages that are written in German. I think it's out of order that adults
cannot use words that adults use while playing a game that is for adults only. since I started playing red dead redemption 2 online IV had 2 bans for replying to unwanted messages, I don't use a mic and the people that do use mics get abusive over the mic
and abusive messages, I reply in kind and I'm the one that gets punished. IV received numerous nasty message since playing this game and I'm grown up enough to not let it get to me or to report to Xbox because it's a game for 18+ and I understand some people
get frustrated when they are losing at a game. Also I think it's out of order that Xbox allows children to play games that they are not legally allowed to play, why not enforce the legal age of the game and stop people playing who are not legally allowed to
play? It makes me want to block everyone who is not on my friends list or set my Xbox so I only come across people who are 18+. It's lunacy that I have to be all pg while playing a game for 18 year olds

A movie theatre would work the same way. A child wouldn't be able to get in on their own, but if they have a parent accompanying them, they will let them in. It's a rating system, not a law.

Any parent that allows a child to play games that are for 18 year old should be investigated by socals service for being neglectful parents, your answers about parental consent dosen't wash with me and nor will it wash with your local movie thearte any
parent trying to get a child into a movie for 18+ will be refused addmittance. Xbox up hold the law and stop children playing 18+ games

They won't allow them in on their own, but they can't stop them from going in with a parent. Rated R is the equivalent of being 18+ and is described as
R – RestrictedUnder 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian.
Contains some adult material. Parents are urged to learn more about the film before taking their young children with them.

Movie thearters do not allow child into 18+ movies peirod. I think you need to go cheack your facts before spewing ignorance on this form

Per the code of conduct you agreed to, profanity is not allowed on Live. While games may be rated M, everything else on Live is considered E for everyone. The ratings don't mean it's illegal for children to play the game. They just can't buy the games.
As long as they have their parent's permission they are allowed to play the games.
