    When will 7.1 sound adjustment be available in Minecraft Windows Edition? When I select the 7.1 sound in the sound settings in Windows, then strong interference begins.

    Surround Sound Headset

    I like the Turtle Beach Stealth 700. It uses Windows Sonic for surround sound, and is Dolby Atmos compatible.

    The Stealth 800X is 7.1 surround, and can be found on sale for around $180

    Most of the rest of the Xbox Surround Sound Headsets run above the $200 mark.

    Hey there,

    The Xbox 360 console doesn't support 7.1 surround, only 5.1 Dolby Digital and DTS. Due to this, it is normal that backward compatible games are outputting 5.1 surround. On your Xbox 360 setup, it sounds you have it set up with Pro Logic IIx to simulate 7.1
    surround sound, but the Xbox 360 console doesn't support true 7.1 surround sound.
