    7.1 Headset not working


    Hi,

    I am trying out keyboard and mouse with my Xbox One S so I bought a Keyboard, Mouse and Headset combo.
    The mouse and keyboard are fine, but my headset doesnt work when plugged in.
    When going to settings it says my TV does not support 7.1 uncompressed - what does this mean?

    My old headset only works with my controller as it doesnt have a USB plug.

    Help please?

    xbox does not support most usb headsets, it only supports very very limited licenced ones. it aint a pc so no drivers are available.

    First, welcome to the Xbox community. Unfortunately, not all USB headsets are supported by Xbox, I believe that's why you're getting this message. Only specific headphones will work on the console.

    I completely agree with this users post. Why does PS3 have their own branded 7.1 truly wireless headset and we have all these crappy tethered headsets? If XBOX is the gamer's console then we need a real wireless headset. I look forward to Microsoft putting
    their engineers to work and coming out with a XBOX branded 7.1 wireless headset in the near future. I also expect it to be affordable like the PS3's version.

    So Far The Chat With THe 7.1 Does Not Work With The Xbox ONe. The Audio Works Perfect For Any Game With The One. No One Currently KnowS If The Chat Could Work With THe One It Could Be The Xbox Is Not Responding To THe Headset. Either The Xbox One Needs
    An Update To Allow This Or The 7.1 Needs An Extra Piece ThaT Allows The Chat To Work.
