I find it very funny that this offer comes out two days after I drop 100 dollars on the Gold Edition of Tom Clancy's Wildlands and kinda want to know how to redeem the reward points for spending all of this money. Truly wish I would have known that something
like this was in the pipeline and feel cheated for upgrading to one of the more expensive versions of the game.... Is there any way to contact MS and have these dollars count towards the credit and offer???

The offer has actually been listed since the 1st. The emails are just late going out. Only purchases made from the Xbox Store are eligible. Since the purchase was made from Walmart, there is no way to receive credits for the purchase.

I had the x-box at game-stopn pre-ordered but liked Walmart's pre-order better, Walmart had a deal you get the game and controller for $100 so thats what i did

I got Griffin a few days ago when my friend told me about it. I am also going to get the Commander Dom skin because I have Gears 3 pre-ordered at Gamestop. I am not sure if Amazon or Walmart have any different pre-order bonuses because my Walmart is right
next to my Gamestop. So if the Walmart has a better pre-order bonus, I will get it from there.

All the other character skins I want you have to unlock by performing certain tasks in game.

EDIT: Never mind! I am canceling my Gamestop pre-order and definitely getting it from Walmart.com. You get the Savage Grenadier Elite skin AND a $20 Walmart gift card.
