$69.99 for new 360 games, WTH?!#$ Are you kidding me

A new console is released and you decide this is a great time to up the price on new 360 games.

$69.99 for the XBOX one is outrageous, never mind the 360.

Clearly Steam machines are becoming the future. PlayStation is no better. The minute a new console is released, and if there not trying to gouge the _________ out of customers for games, I'll be done with xbox. My LOYALTY is at -100 right now

I have the game, and am definitely with the OP. I'm tired of having to pay extra for things the developer purposely left out of the game... Especially this soon after the game's release. It's one thing to come up with something new for a game after it's
been out a while, but this is greed, pure & simple. People who defend this type of practice are the exact reason it exists.

You can fix this if you haven't finished the episode or saved after it stopped counting new piles. I forgot to save and didn't save the server in time, so I was put back after I found the first 10. Saved before every new pile and kept track. Left the pile
behind the house in the NW corner for last and the Achievement unlocked fine (though it took about a minute for it to pop up.

 

Where are you shopping to get that price??

 

I guess I should have stated for new releases...

ie. Destiny at Bestbuy in CANADA = $69.99

USA = $59.99....

apparently Canadians aren't as appreciated.

 

The lowest price in a game store here in the UK for destiny on the 360 is £44.99.

At current exchange rates thats about $81 Canadian dollars, and $72 US dollars.

The UK must be less appreciated than all of you.

We also have another 10% in taxes (GST/PST) bringing the total to near $80. Do you also have taxes to pay? how much?

 

Not once have i ever paid that for any game.

All you have to do is wait a while and the price drops.

Our taxes are included and we still pay more.

Basically we pay more than you, and you only pay a couple more dollars than the US with current exchange rates, you are not being under appreciated.

 

Atari 2600 games retailed at about the same cost years ago....... Neo Geo anyone????

The exchange rate has no meaning if you make a purchase in your home provedence...

 

Exchange rate has meaning when comparing prices by region, which is what we were doing.

 

I almost always wait until the price of the game I want drops to $20 US or less. Usually takes a year sometimes two, but I can buy three times the number of games for the same money that way. The only exception for me has been Elder Scroll games, I bought
both Oblivion and Skyrim right out of the gate because I simply couldn't wait for them.

 

ye iv been buying my xbox 360 games and xbox one games for 59.99 for years now some games i will wait for the prices to drop but for the call of duty games iv all ways got the hardened edition pre order

 

I pay almost the same. In Ohio you get taxed for games...even on the market place on xbox you get taxed $5..so i pay $65 for a new game. :/
