640 Points of Melee!

I have the same problem as well, I tried using my Microsoft points and it wants 2080points instead of 640??

I totally agree with you guys with the fact that performing the fancy animation for Electric Slash can allow your target to hit you and take you down where as Shock Wave will just flat out hit the target; giving your attack priority over your opponent's
attack

Yea, that's pretty much why I don't put any point into the electronic slash skill. If that skill released instantly, like the shockwave, then I'd put at least one point into it to use when behind cover.

But I will add, it is a useful skill to have when your doing those troublesome upload missions where you have to stand still, as some usually hide behind a wall and just spam electronic slash.

I've seen Electric Slash in action, but I don't want to risk the attack animation being interrupted (can it be interrupted? I can't really say because I've never used it) and then my attack will be negated. Electric Slash is without a doubt awesome with
cover to use, but when cover is unavailable; a quick deployment of a Shock Wave from my Human Female Vanguard followed up by a quick dodge manuever is preferable. Electric Slash will leave me exposed a little bit longer than I would want to, leading to a
potential take down.
