    60hz 50hz still not full 60fps...

I've noticed this for a few days, but my xb1 games that are native 60fps like halo mcc don't seem to play at full 60fps and if I were to view clips of this game on here (especially on twitch) its super smooth in 60fps. Is there a setting that changed? I
can't tell what my screen is putting out on the xb1, obviously it'll need to be 60hz for a full 60fps to look it. I can force the mode on my pc connected to this same tv, but how do I force the xb1 to display output 60hz? Other games like forza horizon 2 seems
to have a non 60fps too) Thanks!

PS: maybe its something completely different that i dont know about. i just started to notice this after watching the E3 trailers that are in 60fps as some twitch streams on XB1... they are much smoother when viewing source (which shows halo mcc running
    at 60fps)

    :)

Must be nice to own Xbone

PS2 emulated games use the PAL versions athat 50Hz, then interpolate to 60Hz, causes judder.
    ...annoying.

    Hi Z3RO60D,

Forgive me if i don't hit the nail directly on the head here as I had to read this questions a few times to make total sense. So if I do understand correctly, you're stating that your games ARE playing at 60FPS (at least the ones that should), and
you're having issues getting that same quality with playback.

If that is the case then, I think I have an answer. So with Twitch and other playback items, the video feed is taken, and then re-encoded. It's not the raw uncompressed video that you see when you're playing the game. As such when you're watching playback
of the videos you've made they're going to be pretty different than the quality that was presented to you when you launched your game and played it. I will say that the clips you save will be much better than twitch normally, but again you're looking at compressed
video (that's why we don't pay for cloud storage)

So how does E3 get this quality? Well that's all marketing and they tools that take the RAW video straight from the Xbox. I don't know if it's a special development thing where they can save footage like that, or if it's something they put in between
the Xbox and the monitor they're watching the game on. But they will get the whole enchilada for presentation purposes.

Hope this helps to answer your question. If I missed the question completely feel free to let us know and clarify 60hz 50hz still not full 60fps... :)

No its the other way around. Games that should play 60fps as I witness in streams don't play 60fps in the actual game. Halo mcc, forza, ect all seem to be like 45fps at best to me. As I've said though... if I view a stream or video at source quality I can
    see the full 60fps quality.

Simply a guess because I honestly can't find anything stating why this is happening. But the Xbox does multitasking, do you have any other apps running in the background? If you have kinect try unplugging it. Are you using an external drive? If so try using
internal. If you're using internal, try an external. Another shot in the dark, try a hard reset. Sometimes it clears a bit of cache. To do this with the Xbox on hold the power button down till it quickly shuts off, then try again.

Ive got the same issue with low frames..happening in battlefield during high demand graphic times such as dynamic maps and buildings falling down.. i've chopped it up to either the graphics card or processor cant handle it due to an unknown reason. My suspicion
is overheating causing the performance of the console to draw back and prevent damage but suffering performance quality. I Intend on sending my xbox in soon for a repair and to have them open it and make sure nothing is causing overheating.
