6000 Reward Credits mission

Yesterday I pre-ordered Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands Gold Edition ($99.99)

Shorty after, I checked my e-mail and had one saying:

We’ll give you 6,000 Rewards Credits just for getting your fill of the games, movies, and TV shows you love by March 31. But I had to activate it.

After doing so, I read:

You’re halfway there! Now comes the hardest part — picking which titles you’ll buy. To get your
6,000 Rewards Credits, just spend $60 before tax on ANY* content from the Xbox Store or Microsoft Movies & TV by March 31. That’s right… anything you choose, from pre-order games to movies and more.

Now, since I had done the pre-order shortly before activating this mission, will I still get the credits? I contacted support via chat and they told me:

Xbox Rewards Questions forum Keep in mind that that game is also eligible for the Games on Demand punchcard offer and may have gone towards that offer instead.

In order to be eligible for the Simply Rewarding offer, you must make your purchases after opting-in to the offer. If your purchases were made before opting in to the offer, they would not be eligible. However, it is possible that if you purchased and immediately
opted in afterward that delays in data could cause your purchase to be eligible. However, since it takes us up to 96 hours to purchase information, we have not yet received your purchase information. If your purchase was made sufficiently close to opting in,
you should see progress for the offer in the next few days.

As stated in our FAQ:

What is the monetary value of Rewards Credits?

5,000 Rewards Credits are equal to £3.

Therefore, the 6000 Credit reward from the Simply Rewarding offer would be roughly 3.6 GBP. Your MyVIP star level will not have an effect on Credits from completing offers. It is only for general MyVIP payback.

And yes it can be worth it. on certain missions and on what star your on. because i found that even tho buying the game digital on the xbox store is more costly you get that back eventually in rewards and rebates ETC.

im sure support will also comment back on how much 6000 credit is.
