60 minutes of Halo 5 gameplay

I'm not a Halo fan, so to me it's
very unimpressive. What do you guys think?

Graphics look outdated and the level design looks meh.

5 Minutes of Gameplay

My Xbox 360S will play games, even ones that I got yesterday, for like 5 minutes before coming up with the error message telling me to clean the disks. My guess is that I should send it in (it is still under warranty), but I wanted to get some second opinions.

 

I am a Halo fan, and graphics aside. It's the story-flow of the campaign that interests me most.

 

Graphics don't make a game, that's point one. Point two, there are two levels in the whole of the 60 minutes, I remember playing the beta for Battlefield 3 (map was Metro) I hated the map and the game, but love the rest of BF3.

Don't judge an entire game of a beta.

 

^^ I'm judging from past experience. Those 2 levels looked very samey. Good graphics make good games better. It didn't look next gen at all. Since Halo games don't really change or do anything different....ever, it's safe to say that those 2 levels were
the gist of it.

I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

 

hard to tell how good the graphics are really, it looks alright. but the game is still a year away from launch so i wouldn't judge yet.

Pretty much describes almost everything on the One so far imo.

 

This is a beta the game doesnt come out for a year. 343 already said the beta will be forces on GAMEPLAY you know that thing that makes a game a game. They will be improving the visual later.

 

nothing im going to rush out to buy...giving money to companies that rush sub par products like Halo MCC isnt in my new gaming policy i've recently rewritten and signed in blood.

 

So because you dont like a game you think the maps look meh and the graphics are out dated..... Id say play it and maybe it will be dif. the beta is 720p but so what mass effect IMO is a very good game story and game play yet the graphics for that game was
"meh" COD sold millions every year yet the graphics for that looked "meh" maps where "meh" dont judge a game unless you play it also graphics dont make a game this is my opinion though

6 FT BeLOW name me a game please where a beta has come out a year before its release?? i some how dont think halo 5 will be broken

 

I don't know Goth, there are a few games with really nice visuals on the ONE. Forza 5, Ryse and Far Cry 4 to name a few.

When I say the graphics look outdated it has nothing to do with resolution. It doesn't matter if they're 1080p or better. They still have that generic Halo look and feel.

 

IDK, Seems to me around the 20 minute mark I thought it looked really good. Best looking Halo yet if it stays that way.

 

Halo has actually changed recently in the past with Halo 4 and Halo: Reach. They added loadouts, then personal loadouts, armor abilities, sprint, and a number of other things absent from the original trilogy. Of course, the community started hating on it
because of the changes. Many people just want Halo 2 re-skinned and re-released every year. No change. It's funny, because they are the same people who criticize CoD for never changing.

 

Looks ok, nothing special yet. Won't get on day one as Halo isnt a priority for me but the franchise always was fun.
