60 day wait to swap associated accounts?

I've had an on-going struggle trying to simply change which live account my current gamertag is linked to. I think, finally, I understand how to do this but if I'm right, I would have to wait over two months to do it.

As I understand it now, downloading a profile to a console works similarly to changing associated accounts in that I have to wait 30 days before I can do it again. In
my case, I want to change which live account that recently downloaded profile (old gamertag) is linked to. I'm basically trying to do this three account swap technique, now that I have that old gamertag profile on my console to do it. But like I said,
it seems I now have to wait a month before I can link the old gamertag to a "spare" live account. Then, I would need to wait another 30 days before I can take that newly freed account and link it to my new(er) gamertag.

Primarily, the purpose of this thread is to ask those here, who are knowledgeable in such things, whether I seem to have understood this all correctly. Secondly, I would ask if there's a faster way to do it all.

[If it's of importance, my old gamertag is now a silver account and the newer one is gold]

Any help would be very appreciated.

Switch a gamertag to another Microsoft account

It appears that you need to wait 30 days after you make a change to either a gamertag or a Microsoft Account associated with a gamertag. I was told this on the phone and on an online chat. So when you transfer a gamertag A from Microsoft Account 1 to 3,
that 30 day 'black lists' Microsoft Account 1, so step 4 on the support article needs a 30 day wait, and the full scenario they play out would actually be a 60 day wait total. Hope this can serve as solution to someone else who has been mislead by the support
article.

There is no other way to speed this process up for the account's take some time to pass their data from one email address to the other

So after speaking with support, here's all the reasons why you might be unable to swap accounts (mine was that I recovered my account onto the xbox one). Seems a little excessive, and silly if you ask me.

- After you create an Xbox Live gamertag, you cannot change the Microsoft account that is associated with the gamertag for 30 days.

- After you create a new Microsoft account and associate the new Microsoft account with your gamertag, you cannot change the account again for 30 days.

- The new Microsoft account cannot have been associated with any other gamertag or billing account in the last 30 days.

- You cannot change the Microsoft account that is associated with a profile if the profile has been recovered to a new device in the last 30 days.

- The 30 day waiting period starts again each time you recover your gamertag to a new device.

- Only one Microsoft account change is allowed in a 30-day period (one change per gamertag). If you recently changed your Microsoft account, you won't be able to change the Microsoft account again until 30 days have passed.

- You must also wait 30 days after the profile was recovered from Xbox LIVE to a console before changing the Microsoft account. If 30 days have not passed after recovering the gamertag.

I'm getting the same error...the only thing I can think of is that the account I am start the swap from if a new download to the xbox...and if I read the info on account swap correctly....."you must wait 30 days for downloads from XBox server".....waiting
for info from xbox....

As u have earlier associated this mail with a live account that's why u can't create an account with that id.. as u have detached it let 60 to 90 day pass then u might be able to make the gtag
