    6 Year Old Gamertag Recovery - No account information


    I had an account many years ago by the name of AlexJamesDean.

    This account shares the name of my twitter profile, facebook page, youtube channel, soundcloud and even my website.

    Xbox will not allow me to recover the account as I have no access to the email or phones connected to the account.

    Is there any other way I can go about recovering this as I think it would help me grow my social media popularity.

    Ran into an issue with backwards compatible games. (Please Help.)

    Your old gamertag is in the xbox 360 cache you have to go to settings and remove the linked account before you can add the new one. This happened to me 2 when i changed the lame tag microsoft assigned me. Even if you put the correct information and passcodes ot wont download your new gamertag until you remove the old linked account

    I have a 6 year Xbox live account, which uses an email address (microsoft account) & password i don't have anymore or know anymore. So with the security proofs coming into effect, i cannot play on my xbox as of this morning, as it won't let me sign in without

    The only way that you can recover it is to supply the personal information required on the account. Other than that there is really no way.

    Hi,

    I have already tried that multiple times! I simply cannot recall the information that is needed for recovery. It always states that there is not enough information to verify that it is my account.

    The gamertag this is about is 'c'. It's about seven years old and I've always had xbox live. However the security update requires me to log into my account, which thus so isn't possible..
