6 Months into Xbox One - What do you think so far?

Hoping this does not turn into a slanging match about the console.

Would like to know what people like, what they dislike and what 2 things does the console need to improve.

Any tips you folks have would be good too

I love the voice commands with Kinect, still not sure about the dashboard and useful as it is the "Turn off my TV" setting can be bloody annoying when you just want to power turn the Xbox One and use another device you have.

We need more Next Gen games, not more rehashes of old games. We also need all apps that exist on 360 ported ASAP. They get Red Bull we get Bull

Need the UK TV services introduced now. 6 Months is too long to wait.



I'm not as happy with the console as I thought I would be but I'd not like to loose it now. Any tips you folks have would be good too

Xbox One storage nearly full so quickly

After installing 9 games into my Xbox One my Xbox is now on 96 % storag, the following games are

bf4

Forza 6

Black ops 3

Rainbow 6 siege

BattleFront

roblox

sunset overdrive

After having my xbox one for 7 months I think that the storage has now rocketed up very quickly. I am unsure why this has happened and I Wish there was a way to see what has taken up all the storage.

My xbox one is now saying "13.9 GB free of 364.9 GB"

Is there anything I can do to see what has taken up all the storage?

i bought 6 months ago xbox one forza 6 motorsport edition but i lost my forza 6 download key i haven't use it.

please help what can i do now.

More than happy despite a few niggles!

I'm intrigued now to see what their own TV service can come up with. Be nice to get an idea how the Halo tv series is working out

 

Overall I'm happy, couldn't care less about the whole 1080p argument and I believe the game line up is better here at the moment but that can change quite easily.

I am unhappy about Microsofts continued neglect of any market other than the homeland, they really need to step up their game in that respect and it was one of the main worries I had when deciding which console to get.

They also need to pump out games for gold on the One sharpish unless they want to play catch up the whole of this generation.

Overall though I'm pleased with my purchase.

 

It's a decent enough console. Not a massive fan of the windows 8 thing where everything is an app, it's all a tad too clunky for my liking... Nowhere near as smooth as MS's videos showed pre-launch.

The games have mostly been good, so no complaints there other than the desperate need for a solid RPG or MMO.

It's for that reason I'm playing more PS4 at the moment, well that and the faster OS.

I like it so far. Yes there are things that could, and should be improved. Having said that though the fact that updates are constantly being worked reassures me immensely.

Definitely bought the right console for my particular needs in my opinion.

 

Missing "Dead Or Alive: 6".

That's the only negative thing about the XBox ONE.

 

I've had my Xbox One for almost a month now and so far I don't have much to moan about. I'm a big fan of the UI, but then again I love Windows Phone and Windows OS. The controller is a big improvement from the 360 and the Kinect
has worked fine for me (voice recognition). We will have to wait a little longer for the next gen games as the 360 and PS3 still have a big install base and I'm sure devs and publishers don't want to miss out on the chance of making a bigger profit.

 

Yeah I'm happy with it just wish there were a few more different types of games, like the sims 4, fallout 4 and battle for middle earth 3, only problem I got is the price of games as I'm not patient enough to wait lol
