6 month Xboxlive gift and xboxlive subscription already done - how will it work ?

Hi everybody.

I'm French so please be kind with my poor english level.

My question :

I already have a xboxlive subscription paid every month.

I'll soon have a code for "6 month xboxlive gift" with a game I pre-ordered.

Will my subscription be automatically stopped when my gift will begin ?

Or should I stop by myself the subscription before entering the gift code ?

What happens when I want to go back and play Xbox 360 games after 2025?

Well, on me old 360 the internal clock is not even working any more, so wont be a problem.

XboxOne has lot bigger issues in 2025.
Because by then XboxLive has ceased to exist.
And without XboxLive you cannot use XboxOne!!!

No, seriously: If XboxLive no longer exists, then your XboxOne cannot connect to it, and if it cannot connect, it will not run your games.
-that's how XboxOne is built, and that is the main reason I will not ever buy it.
( at least with PS4 one can play games whether PSN is on or not).Click to expand...

trying to set up my sons xboxlive account

I have an xboxlive account on our 360 console and bought my son a 3 month xboxlive subscription and when we try to sign him up it says this account is already associated with another profile, Does he need to join with a different email address and password?
or/ any help would be great thanks
