How can I tell when my 6 months pre-paid will expire?

The latest I can wait is until march.

Prepaid cards and Gift cards can last for years! I actually used a Xbox Live Gold code from Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, back from 2006, and yea, it worked! Don't worry about it, they will last at least 1 or 2 years guaranteed.

Oh you mean for a code? They typically don't expire, but if they do have an expiration date it would be on the receipt or card the code is on.

I agree with AAH Myto, its most likely a promtional code that wont expire. But the card iself does indeed have an expiry date. Most prepaid cards have a 6 month expiry date.
