5Ghz not visible on series s

Hello JetInsider, you can try two things, the first is to restart your modem/router and check if there are updates for the firmware of the equipment.

The other is, if the Xbox is not detecting the wi-fo, after restarting the modem, connect it with a network cable and do a reset keeping games and Apps.

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

How far is your router from the Xbox?

My Xbox won’t find my 5ghz wifi, but I can see neighbors 5ghz wifi. Any solutions? The 5ghz is visible in all of my other devices such as phones or laptops.

Hi, I am not sure if i am right, it may be that the current Xbox wifi driving program is not working with your 5ghz wifi device. I could like to suggest to upgrade the wifi driving program. Hope this works.

I'm having heavy picture freezes on my Huawei P30 lite with Series S, but only when connected to the same network. Xbox wired and phone 5ghz wifi.

Everything works fine, when I'm switching to LTE with my phone.

I have the PX5's and they are a good headset and can be bought for £99 from Very.co.uk. The PX5's and XP500 are basicly the same headset except colour and the bluetooth dongle comes with the XP500's.



If i was to buy another headset i would be looking at the Astros as they use 5ghz for less interference or the newer turtle beaches that use 5ghz.
