£54.99 to download Titanfall!!!! WHAT!!!

The pricing is pretty ridiculous though not surprising with it being published by EA. It's £10 less in Game (or at least was advertised as such earlier in the store). Still bought it digitally though. I'll be playing it a lot so want the ease of access and
less use of the Blu Ray Drive.

Season Pass is a fair price at £20 though. I've seen them cost more.

Works out even cheaper than getting Xbox Credit on cheap and buying game for £54.99 (avg. £42 or £37 if going US route).

 

Game Cost.

Ok, so I thought that Xbox One games on the store would have price parity with the disc based version, or be cheaper due to no brick an mortor store, disc pressing, packaging etc.

Titanfall in Game is only £44.99 and has been since launch. So why is the download version from Xbox £54.99? £10 more but with no packaging, transport etc? Are there other games this has happened to?

And is it possible to buy the season pass on Xbox.com for Titanfall on Xbox One?

 

I got mine basically for free, matter of fact i was technically handed it and given 4 dollars! Sweet, and all for the low price of two games i do not care for that just collect dust. What a gip.

No, I agree with those prices. I was hoping to go digital with Titanfall but at £54.99 there's no way. I knew I should've pre-ordered it.

The season pass is up btw. £19.99

 

If everyone keeps demanding new games to be lower value then please expect lower value games in the future.

That 60$ does not go very far in the process of creation. Just buy the game if you want it. Money comes and goes, experiences do not.

 

$60 is a lot cheaper than £55. It works out at about £36.

 

£54.99 for us in the UK converts to $91. That's a lot of money for a digital download!

 

My, my. Aren't you a pricey download. Still, if people want the digital version enough, they'll buy it.

 

Perhaps downloads are not the future then, what a load of rubbish. How long do you think it will take to come down? Not paying pretty much twice the price and I'm not having a stupid disc that I have to keep changing. Take a leaf from the music / film industry
already and get with times!

 

So for those 2 games i paid 120$ and i am not crying i only got one game and 4 dollars.

 

Hopefully Microsoft will push for cheaper digital games sooner rather than later, but EA will always be EA

 

Yeah I'm pinning this one on EA. They always push full RRP on their games, digital or physical. They're as bad as Blizzard.

 

I hope so. I bought Ryse when they trialed it at a lower price. £32 I think it was. Lower prices, more purchases.
