50hz Problem AFTER March Update

Hi. I have a problem,

Before the update I used the workaround to trick the xbox into broadcasting at 50hz. OK that worked fine except games looked very juddery. After the update EVERYTHING except the settings menu is running in 50hz that is TV, Games, Apps. etc. What is most
worrying though is if I unclick the 50hz option everything apart from the settings menu STILL runs in 50hz. Games look terrible especially Forza 5 which is headache inducing due to the red and white kerb markers especially when taking a slow corner. I wouldn't
let an epileptic look at the screen it is that bad.

Can someone help. I have power cycled (reset) the console 2 or 3 times and switched it off at the mains overnight. It still has this problem. For those not in the know the update was supposed to make the xbox broadcast in 50hz for tv and 60hz for Games.
In my case this does not seem to be the case.

April Update Beta Issues

in march 24th beta update, 50hz enable itself automaticly and "enable 50hz" is written in strange font , and boot up time is longer than without the beta

 

Would rebooting the console into safe video mode then selecting your required settings maybe work?

Hold down power button for 5 secs to turn off, then hold power button along with the eject button, maybe worth a try Sfoto. Remember and remove any discs first.

 

It suddenly started working properly on it own.

 

That's good news Sfoto, phew!

 

I've been having the same issue, my games look so poorly and its really annoying. I can't figure out what to do.
