50hz judder - fixed???

Since the March update I have 50hz checked so when tv goes full screen it diverts to 50hz mode.

Before the update I couldnt watch tv cause the judder drove me nuts!

I think it's fixed to a point but it still judders every couple of minutes rather than every 6frames.

Has anyone else noticed this? Picture is perfectly fine if I connect my sky box direct to my tv.

PS2 emulated games use the PAL versions athat 50Hz, then interpolate to 60Hz, causes judder.
...annoying.

 

ive got to be honest i never noticed the judder before the update and i only watch football and rugby league and after the update still no problems, i wonder why some people had the judder bad and others like me it never effected.

 

It's better, but it's not fixed altogether. Still Getting lots of judder with bright colours.

 

Noticed bright colour judder yesterday when watching the football. Was especially bad in close up shots on the arsenal players (red shirt).

Axioms of fate, my freind also never noticed the pre update judder. Although I could see it on his tv.

 

No judder at all here on my YouView box running at 1080p.

 

Me to, thought I was going mad, switched it back, sky to amp to tv and no judder, connect it through xb1 and judder every 10-20 secs

 

I even left the beta preview as I thought that it might be partly to blame.

Running on samsung ps51D8000 and onkyo amp.

I never had any gaming judder.

C'mon Microsoft help sort this out

 

Have you guys having issues with (judder) set your console refresh rate to 50Hz ? If not that could be the problem, it's in settings.

 

Yep I changed it immediately and have tried a various range of options

Only tonight whilst watching the footy it became unbearable, so checked and changed connections then did a direct plug in and no more judder

Is your TV box outputting an interlaced picture?

I notice on football that players shoulders on close ups look a bit funny, changing to progressive scan fixes it. But in the case of my Sky box it doesn't do 1080p, so had to drop it down to 720p. Clears the issue up for me, at the expense of losing some
detail on still scenes - to the point I don't even notice.

 

It's only been noticeable in maybe the last two months

 

I've tried adjusting the sky box settings too,

Tried auto, 1080i, and the 720p

It didn't seem to improve the judder.

Watching tv now sky to amp to tv,

There are no issues,

With slight relief at the prospect of not having a duff tv
