500$ for a useless [Mod Removed] brick

It seems that Microsoft continues to screw up and give themself a bad reputation in the console war. I've been an Xbox person since the original, and they still continue to
[Mod Removed] over their customers. I currently have an Xbox Gold membership, even checked Microsoft Commerce to make sure it wasn't suspended, and it's currently active. When I go on my 360 or Xbox One, it prompts me to upgrade to gold. I
can't play Titanfall, can't do anything online, I can't even watch Netflix. I'm really starting to regret buying the One and really wish I switched over to PS4. Once again, GG Microsoft, you never cease to amaze me with your massive
[Mod Removed].

I think it's [Mod Removed - Please don't try to bypass the word filter] stupid we can't play games offline!!! What the
[Mod Removed] is the point in making a console that is useless without the internet? This thing is a 500 paperweight once the internet goes away.

Same problem. Work away in the week and only get to game at the weekends. Despite really looking forward to playing Titanfall, I haven't managed a single minute of game time because I'm constantly invited to upgrade to Gold. I already have Gold. Hard reset
makes no difference.

Already have a PS4, tempted to just stick with that and trade in the XB1 while I'll still get a decent price for it.

 

hi op your account definitely shows as a gold account - the fastest way to get account issues resolved is via telephone support as they have access to accounts whereas we (ambassadors) do not If it was me i would ring them.
