    My buddy gave me a $50 code for the live store, I entered the code, it was accepted, but said this is a backwards compatibility thing, this will show in the download store when its available. So first im wondering where i can see that i have $50 to the store
    on my xbox, second, is an xbox live available for purchase in the store? Thanks

    Game Stores - no wonder retail is suffering

    I bought £50 gift cards from these sites for £40.84 with the 5% off codes for liking them on Facebook:

    Xbox Live Gift Cards, Xbox Live Points, Microsoft Points
    Xbox Live Membership & Xbox Live Subscription By OnlyCDKeys.com

    Enter the codes, buy from the MS online store for £45 each. Works out at £36.75 when you do the maths.

    Ummm if its a currency card then no you can only buy from the dashboard with credit or paypal

    You can only use currency for dlc not subscriptions

    If its a apecific game code then yes you would have to wait till the bc is released to redeem 360 games on an xbox one

    You can shop around online. I've never paid more than 50% of the cost of Live. You can almost always find deals online for 40 - 50% off. Last year I got Live for 50% off and a free code for Rocket League from CDkeys.com
