    50 Hz

    Hi there.

Just recently got an xbox one and I'm using it on a 3 year old LG plasma however as with everything that outputs 60 hz the plasma flickers on bright pictures. I know there is an option for 50 hz mode for watching tv through the box but does anyone know if
there is any way to put the box permanently in 50hz mode for everything (including games). I know before they added the 50 Hz mode you could by changing from 1080p/720p then selecting no but that doesn't appear to work anymore. Can anyone assist please?

    :)

  2. Question about refresh levels

if the frequency is 50 Hz, the refresh rate you need to use is 50 Hz.

if you use 60 Hz it will not make any real differences but the correct refresh rate to use is 50 Hz.

    50 Hz support

It's working as intended. It only switches to 50 Hz when 50 Hz content is played. Just insert a 50 Hz DVD, you will see it switches to 50 Hz just fine.

You may need to enable 50 Hz in the Live TV app also, but I think that option was removed as it's redundant.

If the checkbox is ticked everything should be fine.

Sorry no, as far as I know there is no way to force the Xbox One to output only at 50hz.

How do you change from 50hz to 60hz?

The Hz on a TV is the screen refresh rate. So 50 Hz means that the screen refreshes 50 times per second.

Classic Simpson Hit And Run fails to play on Xbox 360

Try changing your xbox 360 from 60 hz to 50 hz (in settings)
