50,000 reward credits and free expedited delivery

I placed an order through the microsoft store and used this offer code. There was no indication that the code worked so I contacted Microsoft support who informed me that expedited delivery is not available(??). The 50,000 reward points have also not appeared
in my account so I believe that the code has not worked. The support representative asked me to post here to try and sort this out

Not credited 50,000 Rewards Credits after buying Xbox One S through Xbox Rewards.

I got an email which explained I could earn 50,000 Rewards Credits when you buy an Xbox One S and get
FREE expedited delivery when ordering an Xbox One S through the Microsoft store and have not received any reward credits yet and it has already been well over 15 days since the console arrived at my door.

This is the code I used for free delivery: np787d83t

Console bought: Xbox One S

My order date: 15th December 2016.

My Arrival date: 16th December 2016.

Missing reward credits: 50,000.

The terms an conditions of the offer which I fully meet and have met:

The code was just to offset the price of expedited shipping, but is not necessary to receive the credits. The credits should show as pending about 15 days after the console shipped.

 

I thought that the code was also required to claim the credits? And I have no idea if it was accepted or not. There was no confirmation or error messages, absolutely nothing happened. I tried the code multiple times with the same result

 

No. The code really has nothing to do with the credits. Not all of the consoles are eligible for expedited shipping (which support told you) so the code wouldn't have worked if the console you purchased did not qualify for it. But as long as you purchased
the console from microsoftstore.com, you should still receive the credits.

From the FAQ for that offer:





When will I receive my Rewards Credits?

Your 50,000 Rewards Credits should appear as pending within 15 days of your console’s shipping date.





Since your purchase was made recently, it is too early for those Credits to appear as pending.

As mentioned, the code is only to cover the expedited shipping cost, and is not related to Rewarding.
