Update. Microsoft have refunded on this occasion as they give you one chance. I did put a passkey in which I thought hadn't worked but my older son says it has.

When he goes on Xbox you have to log in but that's separate from the passkey obviously? He goes on my other sons profile. I'm just going to buy Xbox live for a year and remove credit card details. I will have to look at profiles. As I'm not an Xbox user
and they werent invented when I was young. I'm a bit ignorant of it all. My older son days passkey is working but will second check it.

As long as the purchase is something I want, I will never complain about my little guy making random purchases (he bought Metro... great buy).... until that time he had Duck Dynasty ready to go.... then I put in a passcode.

Yes. I got the e- mail confirmation. 4 things in 5 minutes so quickly got him off Xbox. Lol Alls well that ends well!

^What went wrong was you let a five year old play on your profile. If he had his own he wouldnt have been able to buy anything.

You are responsible for your password and your account.

It's unlikely that you'll get a refund because you weren't responsible with your account.

(If this sounds like it's being said in a mean way... it's not meant to be).

Support will be able to advise you on steps you can take to prevent other people accessing your account in the future.
