$5 VISA Prepaid Card 14 digit code

hello! I have just redeemed enough gems to get a $5 VISA Prepaid Card, but alas I got a 14 digit code that’s i cant redeem (since it’s not a 25 digit code) and there isn’t any instructions for this 14 digit code. Was this a glitch and if not what I do with
this code? Thanks!

Can't redeem visa prepaid card on Xbox store. Got it from VIP vault just before conversion

I had enough gems to get 3 $5 visa prepaid cards. I received the email which gave me a 14 digit code then I scrolled down and it said, ' to redeem on Xbox live: use the 25 digit code in the 'redeem code' section of the Microsoft store'. I don't know where
my 25 digit code is. (I tried the 14 but there wasn't enough digits). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

Gold subscription does not except prepaid cards.edit

Not sure how in 2016, you don't use debit or credit cards but that's just me.

Anyway, could someone else confirm if using prepaid VISAs work or not? You could always go to gamestop or bestbuy, use your prepaid VISA card on a subscription xbox live card. That should work. Perhaps order a digital code on amazon with your prepaid VISA. I'm pretty sure they accept it.
