    Hi all,

    I'm having an issue where my video captures are being limited to 5 seconds. I have it set to 1 minute clips, I have followed advice and reset my console which solved the problem for 1 capture and then the problem returned.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Hi there HICKegan,

    Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the issues with recording game captures. Thank for trying the following troubleshooting steps:

    • try doing a power cycle
       (Disconnect and reconnect your console's power cable)
    • try doing a
      soft factory reset of the console,
      Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. (Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.)

    If the issue persists, I recommend managing the captures on the Xbox Live and console. I have experienced the similar issue. My cloud was full with photo and video captures.

    Try this out and let us know the results.

    Hi AvelythDraike! My name is Ricardo an independent advisor ready to help you with this situation!

    Please perform a power cycle reset, follow these steps:

    Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    Restart your Xbox One console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox One controller to open the Power Center. Select Restart console and then select Restart. (If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

    After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    Are you sure? In Blops it definitely was, but that was with 50 points every 5 seconds once the HQ was captured. Isn't MW3 the same as MW2, 5 points every 5 seconds?

    Why is the capture system NOT getting more than 10-20 seconds?

    I've had similar experiences with long clips (I.E. 5 minute clips which end up losing over 30 seconds of the capture). My guess is this could be just an issue with Xbox's capturing system (Something out of your control basically). I
