    5 months of dealing with xbox customer support and still no resolution.


    buckle up for this one, 5 months of dealing with xbox customer support and still don't have resolution. it all started in Jan when my xbox one stopped playing discs. i tried all the online forum suggestions to fix it with no resolution so i decided to contact
    xbox customer support. they decided to have me send in my xbox and they would fix it. i sent and got my xbox back a few weeks later and was able to play disc games for 2 days. then it began to have the same problem so i contacted support again and they suggested
    i send it in again, i asked please ensure this problem is fixed if not it's probably best to get me a new console if you can't fix it. they once again did whatever fix and sent back to me. this time my console didn't even play any disc once, it would make
    loud clunking noises and stopped even accepting discs. so I contacted support again and they wanted me to send it in again, i said that was no longer an option for me to keep packing up an xbox that they were clearly not fixing. so they agreed to do what's
    called an advanced exchange. this means I pay $15 or $25 and they send me a new console and I pack up the old one and send it back, I said ok sounds good. they charged me the amount and sent me a new service #. I watched the ticket for weeks and no movement
    no sending of new console. I contacted support AGAIN........... and asked to speak with a supervisor and got FERNANDO, he was polite and helpful and found my ticket and found that someone decided to cancel or close it and refund my advanced exchange back,
    that's interesting as no one contacted me about that or had any reason why it happened. So Fernando opened a new ticket and said he would watch this through so that I am taken care of as this had been 4 months in the making. well......here I am 5 months later
    and watched my service ticket and tracking # for the new console and it had a delay notices and an error notice saying the label was illegible so it was being returned to sender. I figured xbox would see this and they would correct the shipment.....nope it
    eventually made its way back to sender and I get an email today saying, i have received my new xbox and I need to return my old one or they will be billing my card for the full amount of the system plus fees.... um....... I still don't have a system that works,
    no package at my house, none at my post office or mail box.... and the tracking info says it was returned to sender with problems........

    This is all under warranty..... I wonder how bad it would be getting support not under warranty.....

    so now what?

    do they even read these posts?

    Account Hijacked and reported weeks ago...no response from xbox live

    Good luck, I am also dealing with this, but a little worse. My account was hijacked in August and reported immediately. They bought 10000 MS points then migrated account to russia. It's now 4 months later and still no resolution!!!! Support for this
    type of thing just blows.

    Sorry to sound like an a$$. I have been dealing with wireless issue for the past month. I still have no resolution, and my PS3 works flawlessly, have never had to hard wire it...

    In the 2 years I've had the x-box one it has been non functional for about 5 months.

    however i had contacted live customer support last week to check and was told the deal lasted until the end of the month. My son still believes in santa so i couldnt buy the game last week as it would show on his dashboard.

    This plus the fact that the 25% deal is still advertised on xbox website today hopefully means they should honour the deal for me.
