5+ hours and xbox live is still down?

For the past so far 5+ hours my Xbox has not been able to connect to my wireless network not matter what i do. My Xbox has been working fine for years now and i haven't even played it in a couple days, so its nothing i have done and i'm not going through
pages and pages of support documents to figure out what the issue is.

Your support says this is a known issue you are 'working on.'

This wouldn't be a big issue except the biggest game, FH4 has come out today for the Ultimate Edition users (4 days earlier then regular edition). Only problem is you cant play the game without a connection because you need redeem the codes on the Xbox Microsoft
store front for all of the features that come with the ultimate edition.

The current biggest and most expensive game of these past couple months gets released today for the people who bought the most expensive version, and its annoying that you cant even play it. The early afternoon is the time when most users will get it and
are off from school and work, and it seems really suspicious that the servers have some unsolvable problem just when it comes out.

Xbox live rewards

I have waited about 5 days since I requested an Xbox live rewards account and it still says that I have to wait 36 hours while we receive your request. Please help.

Hi there, unfortunately it's a waiting game while we wait for the problem to get sorted out. I'm having the same issues, I just check every hour at the moment and do other stuff.

They might want to update the services that are affected as well. This isn't just "the core services". YouTube and Netflix I know are being affected as well.

It can be a certain region so far I did not have a problem at all today at any moment.
