    On November 6th I received a code on xbox from Xbox and I redeemed it on November 8th. I just had a chat with support to figure it out and I was told to make a post here. I never got the $5 and when support told me to look at my purchase history. It said
    the card was refunded and so I didn't get the money. The person in the chat said that they saw it on my account that I redeemed it. Is there any way I can get the $5 since I didn't spend it and it's not in my balance either.

    Microsoft Reward Program

    I redeemed a $3 and $5 gift card through Microsoft Rewards and didnt receive email for the code to redeem the money.

    Microsoft rewards xbox gift card wrong currency?

    I redeemed an Xbox gift card through Microsoft rewards for $5, as there was no option for a gift card in British Pounds, and i thought the currency would simply convert to GBP after entering my account. It didn't, and I now have $5 in my Microsoft balance
    that i can't use to purchase anything. Is there any way to convert it to GBP, or at least receive a refund on my Microsoft rewards points?

    That code was not from a Rewards program offer, so Rewards support would not be able to assist.

    it's from a deposit from rewards it still applies

    However if you change your account region to let's say UK language for English when your account region is really France that would be the issue

    To use balances from other regions a your console and language region. Must reflect your actual regikn and language

  7. That doesn't help this because my region has never changed from the one I'm in and the balance is from the same region.

    Unfortunately after the promotional credit was redeemed on your account, the only team that will be able to further assist with billing would be our chat support team. If there were issues redeeming the code, that would be an area we can help out in, however
    if the credit was already applied to your account and had been removed, our chat team would be the best route to take as that would fall into a billing issue. Our chat team would look into your account to figure out if that credit was spent or expired.
