5 free games this December... well 3 really. (games with gold < Ps free games with Plus )

You're getting free games. Yes some of them seem to be repeating, but that's okay. And if they did end up doing a voting system, they'd have to select a few games for users to vote. They're not just going to let users vote for anything, as that would cause
problems.

 

Antman, all I want is fallout 3.

 

I want to be able to choose a previous GwG title I somehow missed. Sniper Elite V2. But am confident that. That will never happen!

I think that MS should run 1 selection from their own publishers per month until their isn't anymore left to choose from. Halo CE (Both Bungie and 343i annivarsary editions) for example. Oh, and Halo 4 complete with Sp Ops playable offline etc etc etc. And
for the X1... The Master Chief Collection.

I just think if you're going to be asking outside publishers to allow this and that title to be free with gold you should put up one per month of your own until you haven't got any more to offer up.

Sure Don't mind the fact it falls under deceptive advertising, Lets all just go with it.

there has been more times then not that I found that I was getting only one game because I have paid for the other game already, witch mean it doesn't cover anyone who has already have the game downloaded or even still owned the disk.

How many people already owned the Downloaded games Castle crashes, Battle block theater, assassin's creed 2, halo 3 , halo reach , gears of war 1, Gears of war 3, the walking dead Or any other game on the list when GwG states

Because no matter how everyone will yell "It's still a free game" I see a lot of people over looking a small detail. with how the downloads and DRMs system works.

So again think about the "free" games with golds that poped up. Did you pay for the any of the games that are or will show up on the list.

So yeah the GwG system needs some work to cover up the loop holes that are just blandly left around for people to randomly fall in,

hell I found a loop hole with the Shadow Jago thing, but I know people are going to try and pokes holes in that.

 

Being fairly new to the xbox I am kinda glad some games I missed are doing the rounds again, but I can understand how it feels for someone who has already got that game in question from GwG.

Pretty sure the number of Gold subscribers passed 50 million last year. Who knows what it's at now? 52, 53 million? There have been 65 Xbox 360 games given away, and 28 Xbox One games. I have no idea what the average number of GwG downloads is... but I think
it's safe to say that each title is downloaded by millions of subscribers.

Care to guess how many of those millions bought the games you listed? I'll tell you. None of them did. Because if they had they wouldn't have downloaded them for free. So... millions of people are reaping the benefits of the GwG program.

As for those who already own the games. That isn't a "loophole" or... whatever you said. I've owned 17 of the 360 GwG's so far. Bought and paid for before they were GwG's. Owned just 2 Xbox One GwG's. But I'm not really buying a lot of games for Xbox One,
I bought what I wanted from the off, and I'm playing what I have, a lot. Though I've downloaded all the freebies on X1 I haven't really played them. Some I haven't touched at all.

What have I missed out on in having 17 of the 360 freebies and 2 of the X1 freebies already? Nothing. I already own the games. It isn't costing me anything to 'not' have a free game, because I happen to already own it. lol As I said before, sub fees didn't
go up when this program arrived... and GwG isn't promising to always offer you something for free, that you don't already own, or haven't already played.

It's just a bonus. Sometimes GwG is hit and miss for individuals, but for the Gold subscriber community as a whole, somebody is
always getting something from it. Somebody in a group of millions of somebodys. Heh.

 

Will never hear a complaint from me, in the end, they are free

If you wanted these games any other way, you'd have to pay for them, so you can't really complain.

Free is free, and free is good

 

I could understand some resentment for GwG if somebody bought a game that say, a week later became a GwG. I'd deffo get behind some kind of refund for that kind of thing. Maybe credits through Xbox Rewards or something.

Not everybody visits Major Nelson's blog or consumes gaming media articles. So as consumers, it would perhaps be nice that, when a game is announced as a GwG, a notification on the game's details at the point of purchase should be present.

Yeah, i can get that. Actually has just happened to me, I bought Theif just last week as it was on special, but now see that its on GwG. Thankfully I got it quite cheap, but still is wasted money on my part. It is what it is though, I could have found the
information with a quick search but just bought the game as a spur of the moment thing

Maybe they could put a tile up on the home screen with the upcoming GwG's? That would be handy and solve the problem

Not so much anymore. Two years ago GOLD was a sad value compared to PS Plus, but over the last two years Microsoft has stepped up a little and Sony has fallen back a lot, I guess its a result of the console sales figures. Microsoft was forced to add some
value and Sony has the ability to pull some back.

 

I get what y'all saying about repeaters. I think if they gonna repeat. Do both consoles with same repeater game same month like Walking dead game. Then I didn't mind.

 

I thought there was a deal that Xbox Live dished out, that as long as you have Gold, you can download all of GWG's games for free. Or was that a hoax or something? I swear I heard something along those lines somewhere, unless they're going to try that at
a later point.

 

It like a gift dude or gal. you do not vote on what you get. And only the thought that counts.

 

Already own or have owned most of gwg on 360 and xbone Not botherd tbh.

Already own or have owned most of ps+ on ps3 and vita, not been to keen on the poor ps4 pickings since outlast. Again not to botherd.

Oh well

When Sony put up the ps4 vote we ended up with the the worse game in the bunch imo. Not bothers since as I think it's a fix, though did get a nice ps4 birthday theme.
