5 free games this December... well 3 really. (games with gold < Ps free games with Plus )

Lets get to the point here.

Theft and Castle Strom have been already free for Xbox360 and xbox one respectively

In fact xbone has the Definitive Version of CS. (Castle storm)

Who ever is in charge of the game with gold program has to step it up if this is what you have planed for games with gold.

Can we just have a Vote or some other system in place to where we can have a better pick of the games At this point games with gold is a joke when compared with PS plus.

Why isn't Microsoft giving away free stuff?

Too bad more than half of the games you listed are free to play games, not part of the PS Plus free games.

Plus, it's only one a month. Contrast was only free right away in November because they didn't have a game for December.

It should be games with gold off the bat. On day one it was free on PS plus.

 

PS Plus has become crap too especially for the PS4.

 

And what if someone does not own a xbox one or 360? Why should they lose out just because you don't like the choices of free games this month?

Personally i'm not that impressed with this months offerings but hey,free is free so i'm not complaining.

 

It is free so if you don't like it you are out absolutely nothing. Wait for next month and maybe the offerings will be more to your liking. I am sure many will enjoy the ones offered this month.

Reread my post.

What I stated is a Valid point and you've only given 1/4 of a logical Reply, that being a what if.

at the end of my post I even stated

there are games from the past that I already owned way before game with gold even started, witch was Pushed as "Getting two to three free games each months and this one was pushed as Five.

In fact, to point at that what if, what about the people (like me) who already have the games and played them, why would I want the same copy of the game for both systems and one being a downgraded Edition of the same game.

my point is to have a pick for the people who have already have the game (I.E paid for and showing clear, undeniable proof IF you own the disk and not a Digital copy, and if you do own the Digital copy you can clearly proved you paid for it I.E showing
your download history as it well show up as "Full game".

That way if by some chance that you are offered a game you've payed for or already own when the next offers come around then you've lucked out and gotten a free pass for a game that you'll actually want.

If not at the 2nd game, people can have a Vote on witch of the next two games can be free that way everyone has a chance at getting a game that they want, insetd putting games like halo 3 or reach up because it's a game that a lot of people liked

But someone going to tell me I'm being selfish and disregard the logic in my posts.

hows gaming going down hill, games with gold is an optional extra, they don't have to provide it, and currently is provided as is. if you have the game already then no need to download, we dont need a voting system or we will end up where other people own

Lol,I've been gaming since the late 70's so if I was part of the reason then gaming would of gone downhill years ago.

Part of the reason society is going downhill is people moaning when they are offered something for nothing & are not satisfied,ring any bells?

As Farscape said,voting would end up with even more whiners on the forums moaning that the game they voted for didn't win.

I've already owned pretty much every game that's been GWG since it started but am I on the forums crying? No because I realise i'm lucky to even be offered these freebies.

Just be grateful you are being offered these games even if you already own them.

Microsoft [MS] can't just pick any game in the library of either console and start giving away third-party titles. The reason so many of the early GwG games were published by MS -- Gears, Viva Pinata, Halo, Keflings etc. is because MS can give their own
stuff away for free.

They can't just dip their mitts into the franchises of huge publishers like Activision, 2K, and EA and give stuff away, or pick a few popular games at random and put them to a gamer vote. These things have to be negotiated. If Bethesda/Arkane are releasing
a remastered Dishonored for X1... they may [did] promote it by giving away Dishonored for 360 as a GwG. Together with a discount for the X1 version, if a player owns the 360 version.

Indie developers under Microsoft's umbrella will be more likely to say yes to a GwG. So there'll be a bunch of those types of games coming to us as GwG's. If EA or 2K Rockstar are going to be doing a sale of 360 add-ons, they may give a game away as a GwG...
people with the GwG title may buy the add-ons that are on sale to complement their freebie.

So yeah...there's more to this program than a bunch of dudes sitting in a room going, "We've already offered Thief on 360, so let's go ahead and shake things up, how about we give away Activision's Advanced Warfare on Xbox One? Nobody'll mind if we chip into
the continuing sales of that game, by letting it hit a few million gamers' download queues."

Games getting Censored for small things because someone was "Offended"

Games getting parts cut out and resold as DLC.

Games are having less and less game play to push up Graphics.

Yes indie devs are there and offering the games we haven't been getting but even some of them aren't thrust worthy.

Adn when games with gold was offered it was to fix up for the massive mistake at E32013 when they tried to lock everything down with DRM, it backed fired badly.

Then games with gold came out.

It's clearly to try to rebuild thrust with gamers is it working?

Well seeing how Sony has more legit Exclusive games only to their play station 4 that being 94

wile the xbox one has 40 legit Exclusive games.

What am I saying? Well there's a reason why Call of Duty Left Xbox as it's home system, there's a reason that their are over seven bundles for xbox one, but I hardly see sony making bundles.

Oh and p.s I didn't asked when you started gaming, You can start gaming as soon as the very first game was made, doesn't mean your not going to be apart of the problem but tell me, how much content is packed into battlefront and is space battles there?

On topic. If you don't like the GwG games - don't download them. If the GwG program was removed as a feature of Gold tomorrow, your Gold subscription would be totally unaffected and would remain the same price. Sub fees didn't go up when it arrived, and
wouldn't go down if it went away.

Better to have it than not, IMO, whatever it's offering.

If you believe half of the factually incorrect things you say about PS4 [it's a solid system, you don't have to make things up to make it seem better than it is, lol] get one if you haven't got one already.

Is it possible then to get fallout 3 as GwG? Since you said it help promote the game like for exemple fallout 4

 

Backwards compatible Fallout 3 was free to Fallout 4 purchasers so... if they offered it as a GwG too, it would dilute that package, me thinks.

Things like Tomb Raider Definitive Edition appearing as a GwG helped give people a taste of Rise of the Tomb Raider, before it arrived. If you see some dlc appearing on 360, it sometimes comes before a GwG. Mafia II's add-ons appeared, and then Mafia II
was a GwG... but meh, I'm crud at predicting what'll appear...

... glad I didn't bother pinging achievements in Thief on 360 when that was a GwG. I'll play the X1 version instead. {=D
