5 days later still have only gotten into 5 games..... WTF

My game will not find a multiplayer game for almost ten minutes at a time, and I am intermittently unable to join parties or host a party... .5/5 stars at this point

Games & stupid downloading issues!!!

Man i have been trying to download a game for 5 months & after each 3 days i gave up WTF

 

You need a good connection.. otherwise you get redirected from the dedicated servers and connected to a players host. They released a patch and updated matchmaking with less choices but they say next weak there will be a updates and changes in matchmaking..
So wait until next weak

But, I did over 50 matchmaking games so.. looks like it's only some users that experiencing worst issues..

 

Pretty much this. The performance update next week should fix it so more players can access the servers though.

 

Been taking me about 2 min to get into a game... not great by any means, but much better than it was.

 

21 matches played all week, and maybe 5 had full or even teams. Matchmaking is broken for a huge percentage of players, and for those that can get it a game it's usually pretty slow. The only way I've been able to get a game keep playing was to get the entire
lobby to stay. That way it just gives us a new set of options and we play again. It doesn't matter if you're playing solo or in a party because the game likes to switch up teams for some reason. If you're in a party then someone is going to drop eventually,
and backing out is Risky Business. When it works its fun as hell, but that has not been the norm for me or anyone that I know.

My connection is much better than needed. And I still cannot connect. I have had a few matches. My wife played a couple of them while I did something else. Game played fine and was not laggy which is great. Just wish I could get into the matches. Tries
for a while and then just says it cannot connect.

I did have fun when I played. And having all the main campaigns on one disc is great (looking for a Mass Effect and Gears collection).

 

what i do sometimes is restart the game it helps.

 

That and most of the time it puts people from your own party on opposite teams. It's so annoying that there is not a leave with party option when searching for a match. If I back out almost everyone in the party has to quit and restart the game just to
rejoin the party. Seriously did they not consider this simplest of things? I really didn't think I would be back playing COD AW so fast.

 

It has nothing to do with connection speed. I'm 50 up 10 down and I'm still having issues.

As much as it pains me to say this we need to hold 343 and MS's feet to the fire on this one. There is a horrible trend in gaming right now of releasing broken or buggy games. This is both of those. It's inexcusable.

 

I unlocked the Battle Rifle Name Plate. which is play 200 online matches or campaign(which I haven't played yet.) So I rarely not find a game. I find one under 2 minutes. 50 down / 10 up.

 

I have pretty much put this game on the shelf for a while. There are just too many issues. I have other games to keep me busy while they work things out. They really did drop the ball on this one. Almost every game has issues at launch but I think by far
this is the most messed up game I have seen. Usually multiplayer is the biggest issue but this game has issues across the board, campaign etc. Really a poor job. Makes you really think about the next halo release.

 

If that's the case then it's completely random. I was able to get into Slayer Anniversary last night after about a 4 minute wait. I waited far to long for BTB and gave up. I'm glad that it's working for some people that means that it's likely to start working
for everyone soon.

For me there's just no consistency.

 

The funny thing is for the longest time my friends and I would boast about how halo got it right with matchmaking and multiplayer before all of the other games figured it out. I know this is a huge game to have all things running smoothly from the start
but they messed up the whole thing. Really a sloppy job.
