5 day ban for spamming, that didn't happen!

My gamertag is McDaddyOh, but I am responding to my child McSquirrel10 getting banned for 5 days for spamming a player in Titanfall. The fact6 is the other player was getting killed in a team death match by McSquirrel10 and got mad, apparently this person
knew that by making a report of spamming would result in action against McSquirrel10. I spoke to my son and asked him if any type of communication had taken place between him and this player, I was told there was never any type of message or speech or anything
else, yet he received a 5 day suspension under the anti spamming rule. The suspension id over now by at least a week, the problem I have with this issue is the False Reporting, I'm sure this is not the first or the last time this player has or will use this
type of revenge if he don't like another gammer. This is a severe abuse of the reporting rules and needs to be resolved, mainly by punishing the player making false reports. this is the second time I have tried to post this information and received a response
that I did not include the necessary information, If I am not including the needed information please tell me what info you need since I have never had a complaint to make or had one made against me I am un familiar with the reporting system. I know Titanfall
is and EA game but is held on MS servers therefor MS would have any information of the ban against McSquirrel10 and who it was made by I would hope and they would also have some sort of proof that spamming had occurred before banning a player, am I correct?
XBLPET ALPHA please respond with an email I can contact you through so you can provide me with the information that you need to look into this matter or who it is I need to contact in order to get this researched and this player banned for abuse of the system.

Unfair

Spamming the report button does nothing unless the thing he is reporting actually breaks TOS.

In that case the ban will happen.

Hi guys.

So I don't know if anybody remembers me but I just wanted to update you guys regarding the spamming that has been happening lately.

As you might realise, I'm not very active on here at all as I mainly moderate and spend my time on the sister site (PS4Forum.com), but occasionally I'll pop on here from time to time.

But I have noticed the tremendous amount of spam that has happened here as of late, and honestly I have no idea why something has been done about it.

Anyway, I have deleted all the spam that (did) exist. That means over 100+ spam threads have been removed and over 50 spam members receiving the ban hammer from yours truly.

I truly do apologise for the amount of spam that has happened lately and for nobody doing anything about it. But hey, at least it's being sorted out

All reports are thoroughly investigated before any action is carried out.

Doesn't matter how many complaints were filed against your son,if he had done nothing wrong then he would not have got suspended.

Someone abusing the complaints system will be suspended or even banned for multiple offenses.

The enforcement team do not read these forums nor will they contact you other than to tell you why an account is banned/suspended.

The only way to get their attention is by posting in the ban/suspension forum in support but that is only to find out why an account is banned/suspended,as you already know the reason & the suspension is over they would not reply to your post.

 

That's funny that you say all claims are investigated first since this happened in the game instantly. I would like to know how the claim was investigated in a few seconds? As my son was playing the other player reported him for spamming him and his game
ended and it showed that he could not play the game for 5 days. Since there was never any messages or email sent to this other player I would like to know who investigated it, I would also like to know how many messages my son was supposed to have sent this
player in order to be accused of spamming. Since I am the parent on the account and never received any type of communication, if my son did send messages to this player I will revoke his online activity. So he is playing Titan Fall and kills an opponent several
times and before the match is over he is suspended for 5 days, does that sound like there was time to investigate this matter?

 

Then he was suspended for something that was done a month or so earlier.

There is no way to find out how many messages were sent & the enforcement team will not tell you.

Are you sure he was suspended from xbox live or just Titanfall ?

If it was Titanfall then you would need to contact the games developers about this,not Microsoft.

 

His mom was standing there when the other player said he would make sure he couldn't play in the party and he was locked from Titanfall within minutes. It was not a Live Suspension just from Titanfall, they had never met and the man joined my child and his
friends party, my wife said something about my son not playing with older men and the player said he would make it happen, and he did. I just learned last night that my wife was listening since the party was coming through the TV speakers and the Kinect sensor
mic picked up her comment about playing with older men. still there was no spamming involved and the Titanfall game is hosted by Xbox servers, I contacted EA and they show no action against my child's gamertag and directed me to contact Xbox live, they directed
me to the forum and I have yet to find any type of action taken against my child's gamertag yet there was a five day suspension for spamming that showed when he would try to log into Titanfall. I want to get to the bottom of this and find out how this happened,
yet all I get is how it couldn't happen but yet it did, and it was instant and there was no investigation and nobody seems to have any record of action. how can that be, Oh its over it's no big deal right? No it is a big deal because false accusation is an
abuse of the system ment to keep the games safe and fun.

 

Sorry but you have been given the wrong info,game specific bans are down to the developers,not Microsoft.You wont get any help here as there's nothing anyone can tell you.
