£5.44 of Microsoft Money to spend. Recommendations!

Hi all,

Microsoft have informed me that the funds on my Microsoft account will be expiring at the end of this calendar month (May '15). I have £5.44 which I am willing to top up with any additional money needed, and am open to suggestions! (£5.44 translates directly
to $8.57, but I'm not sure how that reflects on prices within the store.)

Naturally, the Games With Gold scheme has been very generous, so any games given from that list are moot. I have an Xbox 360 and Windows 8 to spend on.

Microsoft account credit

I have money in my Microsoft account. Why is it asking for credit card details? I just want to spend the money in my account. Is there a way to spend the money in my account without putting in credit card or Paypal details?

 

Minecraft to join Microsoft

I will add,that money didn't come from my pocket (so doesn't matter how they spend it),Microsoft bought a studio not only a game.

I think it won't stop Microsoft to buy other studios or spend money on new exclusives if they want to.(they already spend 2 billions for games on Xbox,before Mojang).

And Microsoft will get money from Minecraft players outside Xbox brand,might *** some people....

I don't play Minecraft but still a good news.

I thought Microsoft didn't care about indies studios ? Seems not.

Well as I said, I don't mind topping it up! I just think it's better it goes to something I'll enjoy rather than spending it for the sake of spending it

 

Put towards Resident Evil Revelations 2. They are €5.99 per episode. You might be able to get 2 episodes. I'm not sure what they cost in pounds but they are cheaper. There is also a spot in the store that has games under €10.00 so I would check that out.
There are actually quite a lot of games.

 

If you'd asked a fortnight ago I'd have said grab a copy of FarCry 3: Blood Dragon. It was on sale for less than £3 and is awesome. Even if you added the extra few quid now, and paid the £9.99 for it, I don't think you'd regret it.

The 360 Dragon Age games, Soul Calibur II HD, and Star Trek are all on sale for under £5 now... I'd recommend picking one of those. =)
