    5-10 second black screen when dashboarding or switching games


    I have the Acer Nitro VG270UPbmiipx monitor plugged into the xbox. When switching between a game i.e rocket league and the dashboard. My screen goes black as if it is trying to switch input for 5-10 seconds, i cannot use the controls
    on my monitor during this time. I have disabled auto sourcing of the input and other controls on the monitor to see if this resolves it but it doesn't.

    I have tested this on another monitor and this is not an issue it switches almost instantly which I would expect.

    Any help? Does xbox know about this issue?

    I can't explain the time difference or how it goes about doing it but its most likely just how the specific monitor handles hdr as the blank screen is what happens when hdr gets turned off as it isn't enabled in the dashboard only for games and media.

    Also as of now that's just the way it is as there's no option to enable it for the dashboard

    I had the same ms-resource:LABEL_MESSAGIGN_APP_DISPLAYNAME issue yesterday and today I now have a black screen on start-up (after the green xbox one screen displays). I tried power 10 seconds, power switched off, and the hold eject and power on for 5 seconds
    but nothing.

    1. Power down the console (hold power button for 5 seconds)

    2. Hold power button and disc eject button until you hear a bing & then release

    3. Console will start with green screen

    4. Console will turn off again and reboots with green screen, then console provides black screen & loads up dashboard

    5. Dashboard is loaded up on safe mode 640x480 resolution

    6. Hold the off button down for 10 sec

    7. Once the console is off, remove Kinect sensor

    8. Turn console on

    9. Start the game

    10. connect sensor again

    Tried a different HDMI console and still get the screen going black every few seconds when playing a game and when on xbox dashboard. Anyone any ideas.
