    5.1 setup help


    Hi,

    I've a problem here.

    I tried with both hdmi sound and optical cables. No difference.

    I only get audio from my two front speakers. Left and right. Center, back left and back right it dead silent. Movies, games, menus. Everywhere.

    What am I doing wrong? Hdmi I tried 5.1. Optical I tried the new surround sound option, but to no help.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Also have this issue. When I turn HDMI sound off, and bitstream/Dolby on, I get no sound whatsoever despite my optical audio cable being installed.

    Seeing the same issue on my end as well. Set the optical out to DTS, but receiver is not recognizing the audio stream with surround sound.

    XB1X Dolby Atmos problem

    with a 5.1 speaker setup you cant have atmos, dont use it.

    5.1.2 is the minimal speaker setup for real atmos, and a atmos suporting receiver

    dts x works with 5.1 speaker systems, atmos not

    It's automatically output via HDMI and optical out as long as it's enabled in Settings.
