    Ok so here's my situation:

    About a week and a half ago, I turned on my xbox and all the games and apps that were stored on my hard drive were just not there.. I've had this issue happen a few times before, but i would always just unplug the hard drive and plug it back in and everything
    would be fine. This time was not the case.. was working fine 2 days prior and hadn't used it the day before. Everything I did, nothing seemed to work. Just wouldn't detect the hard drive. So I contacted Seagate and luckily it was still under warranty. It was
    only about a year old and I specifically remember getting it around the release of RDR2. So I got my new hard drive from Seagate yesterday and now it keeps disconnecting and connecting on it's own. I've used all the USB ports, a different USB cord and a different
    xbox.. nothing seems to be working.. So i dont think it's an issue with my xbox. I've contacted Seagate again, because I'm sure it's just another faulty hard drive and currently just waiting on a response from them, but I wasnt sure if maybe I was missing
    something or if anyone had some sort of fix? I don't have a PC to plug it into to run any sort of diagnostic on it unfortunately..

    Its possibly the hard drive or the connection is it a 3.0 interface usb conection... If not it has to be for xbox to be fiully compatible.. They might have given you a 2.0 plug. What type of seagate is this There are tons.. What are the specs: Check to
    make sure your hard drive has these specs

    If the issue is persistent across different Xbox's, then the hard drive is definitely the issue.     Add External Drive to your XBOX

    I use a Seagate 6tb external harddrive for my own console. A 4tb harddrive for the bedroom console and my son has a 2tb on his console. Ive had no issues with Seagate and wouldn't go anywhere else

    I have a 4tb external harddrive and in the set up there is currently no way too split the downloads half and half between harddrives, and if you wanted too do this you would have too unplug and replug in the harddrive you wanted too download games onto
    and then switch them around when you want too transfer too a different drive. This is also down too the fact that there is only one usb port on the xbox one too plug the harddrive into, making it impossable too doenload at the same time onto seperate harddrives.
